Practicing wholesome living means promoting positive health through a holistic approach. A holistic approach that addresses the mind, body, and emotions of the individual.
There are seven principles to wholesome living that were utilized and put together to optimize health. These principles are known as The Mindful 7.
The mindful 7 are designed to create balance and well-being. It includes self-care practices such as maintaining a balanced diet, exercising regularly, getting sufficient sleep, managing stress, and nurturing social connections.
Each of the principles must be thought of as a cohesive whole. For instance, the concept of healthy eating and not receiving adequate sleep can lead to an imbalance. Furthermore, having a balance diet and adequate sleep together results in a better outcome.
A wholesome lifestyle can be achieved by utilizing each of the seven mindful principles. I will elaborate more on each in a future blog post along with natural healing methods and strategies we use as a family.
